Affordable Housing, Portland OR
The 129-unit project provides housing for individuals and families transitioning from homelessness. An existing site in the Laurelhurst/Kerns neighborhood held a 1922 Tudor Revival building that had been renovated in both 1953 and 1993; portions of the building were to remain on the National Register of Historic Places. The project renovates the existing structure and adds two new buildings to the historic site. Improvements include parking, play area, modest landscaping and tenant amenities. The project anticipates Earth Advantage Gold Certification.
